A section discussing the history of affirmative action as it originally pertained to the African Americans is discussed followed by a section which detail some of the particulars involved within different considerations such as the disabled. Essentially, affirmative action is an issue which, while originally addressing the needs of the African American, is necessary for all minorities and such the program and the initiatives that have been a result of the affirmative action are a natural progression in furthering protection of minorities.
